I saw this picture on Pinterest this morning. I love it! I am so going to try reading one of each thing! Maybe I should make the Freebie Space in the middle a “Read one of your own books” square!! 😉
Who else is going to do this? It’s such a fun way to read!
P.S. If you can’t see the image properly, click on it and it should enlarge. 🙂
Hey everyone, I crossed off the first of my Reading Bingo challenges today! “A Book by a Female Author”. I read “The Frog Prince” from the Faerie Tale Collection by Jenni James. Really sweet book, I loved it! All of her Faerie Tale books are a refreshingly different take on popular fairy tales. 🙂
P.S. I probably could have crossed of maybe one or two other categories, but I have decided that I will only ‘call’ bingo on a book if it was a good one in my opinion!
Well, it’s been a little while but I have another square to cross off today. I just finished reading a romance novel set in America just after the war for Independence. It’s called ‘Caroline’ by Cynthia Wright and I found it to be a really sweet and lovely novel, reminded me a little of my own romance with my husband! Okay, okay enough of the soppy stuff! 🙂 Even though it was written in the 80’s, it still reads as a more contemporary novel and the clothing details are some of my favourite parts! Sometimes, I wish us women still dressed as they did back then! This story is ticking off my “A Book That is More Than 10 Years Old” box. If you like romance novels, you should really try this one!
